I love waterlilies! They grow from underwater rhizome rootstock with new growth veiled under the water. As new waterlily flowers emerge, they testify to what we cannot so easily see.

When flourishing, this rootstock produces shoots above and roots below. Anchored by those nourishing roots, leaf and flower shoots spread across the water surface, bringing beauty and providing shelter.
