The sparkle of light and color reflected in these raindrops drew me to these flowers. Disappointed in the rain falling on my morning outdoors, I studied these blooms and realized the beauty of the flowers was deepened by the very rain I had wished would go away.  Painting them, I came to understand these raindrops created beauty by reflecting the light and color they were close to. 

Psalm 34:4-9
"I sought the Lord, and He heard me,
And delivered me from all my fears. 
They looked to Him and were radiant,
And their faces are never covered with shame.
This poor man cried out, and the Lord heard him,
And saved him out of all his troubles.
The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him,
and He delivers them.
