"Fairchild Cannonball Celebration of Life"

The Cannonball tree at Fairchild Tropical Garden has bare,
root-like branches reaching down and even tangled on the ground.
It’s easy to take one look at it and dismiss it as ugly and void of life.
Only when you come near and look closely, do you see the clusters
of spheres occasionally bursting into life and color through these
flowers.  Drawn to paint them, I realized how our Creator’s vision
for us is focused on the life and beauty signified in these flowers!

Ephesians 2:4-10
"But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which
He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive
together with Christ...For we are His workmanship, created in Christ
Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we
should walk in them."
